Niyati has received her initial training from the International Institute of Craniosacral Balancing of Switzerland (2.5 year training program). She offers Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to the humans and animals of Mumbai.
Niyati's credentials underscore her commitment to this specialised field. She is a member of the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings in North America. Her education is complemented by additional trainings and certifications that enhance her practice.
Her professional development includes working with the social engagement system and the vagus nerve with techniques shared in a training in London facilitated by Dr. Katherine Ukleja. She has received a master class from the ground-breaking scientist and psychologist, Dr. Stephen Porges on the transformative power of feeling safe, with interventions on how to support a traumatised patient in therapy.
She has pursued advanced studies on end-of-life care and easing transitions in the dusk of life through a training in Prague facilitated by Bhadrena Tschumi and Kavi Gemin. She has deepened her understanding of working with traumatic stress through a workshop in London facilitated by the world’s leading expert in the field of trauma treatment, the renowned Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. She has received a certification from the Tongue Tie & Sleep Institute in Mumbai, a group of dentists, lactation and paramedical consultants regarding how to provide a holistic approach to treating tongue ties in babies. She has received specialised training on working with the heart and cardiovascular issues from Bhadrena Tschumi and Kavi Gemin.
